These terms govern your use of Selfbase. They also serve as the end-user licence agreement for the Selfbase applications. By using Selfbase you agree to them.
Your account
You need an account to use Selfbase, and you are responsible for what happens under it. Keep your sign-in secure and tell us promptly if you think it has been compromised. You must be at least 16.
What you make is yours
You own the code, content and data you create with Selfbase. We claim no ownership of it. You grant us only the permission we need to operate the service for you: to store your work, to show it back to you, and to act on it when you instruct the agent to.
What the agent does, and what it does not
The agent acts on your instruction. It never ships code and never publishes a post without your explicit approval of that specific change or that specific post. You are responsible for what you approve, including anything the agent drafted.
Agent output can be wrong. Review it. Selfbase is a tool for someone who is accountable for the product, not a replacement for being accountable for it.
Connected accounts and model keys
When you connect an outside account you authorise us to operate it on your behalf, within the permissions you granted, and only to carry out work you asked for. You remain bound by that provider's own terms, and you are responsible for having the right to connect the account.
You bring your own model provider keys and pay those providers directly. We do not mark up tokens and we are not responsible for their charges, their availability, or their output.
Acceptable use
You may not use Selfbase to:
- break the law, or help anyone else do so
- publish content you do not have the right to publish
- send unsolicited bulk messages, or anything a platform you connected forbids
- attack, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or anyone else's
- resell Selfbase, or use it to build a substitute for it
Fees
Paid plans are billed as described at the point of purchase. Purchases made through the App Store are handled by Apple under their terms, including refunds. Model provider charges are separate and are between you and that provider.
Availability
We work to keep Selfbase running and we do not promise it will never be unavailable. We may change or discontinue features. If we make a change that materially reduces what you are paying for, we will tell you.
Ending it
You can stop using Selfbase and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms or puts our systems or other customers at risk. If we do, we will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
Warranties and liability
Selfbase is provided as is, without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Selfbase is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusions above, in which case they do not apply to you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you before it takes effect. Continuing to use Selfbase after that means you accept the new version.
