Integration
OpenRouter
OpenRouter is a model key rather than a Connection. One key reaches many models, OpenRouter bills you directly, and Selfbase never marks that up.
What it does
- Runs the agent on the models your OpenRouter key can reach.
- Reads the model list, so the picker shows what is available to you.
- Checks the key against your account when you paste it, not against the public model list.
Connecting
Open You, then Model keys, and paste a key from openrouter.ai/keys. A single Workspace can override it under Workspace settings, then Model keys.
How your credentials are held
Your key is encrypted with a key held in AWS KMS and is only ever shown back to you masked. It is decrypted at the moment a Run calls OpenRouter, and the call goes to OpenRouter directly.
Removing it
Delete the key in You, then Model keys. Revoke it at openrouter.ai/keys if you want it dead everywhere.
To have everything Selfbase holds about you deleted, see data deletion.
